Community organizations worked together to organize this day for soccer enthusiasts in honor of Wendy Ladner-Beaudry, an avid runner who was murdered in Pacific Spirit Park last year.

VICTORIA – Still outraged by the B.C. Liberals’ HST deception, British Columbians are now facing a publicly funded government propaganda campaign.

B.C. Liberals must live up to commitment to deliver civilian-led body within 12 months

VANCOUVER – The Braidwood Inquiry recommendation to implement a civilian-led independent investigative body for the RCMP is overdue and should be implemented without hesitation, say the New Democrats.

MLAs are urging government members to follow the lead of Blair Lekstrom and stand up against the HST. For example, in response to a comment from John Slater that he wouldn’t be surprised by more resignations over the HST, today Bruce is saying that if MLA Slater does indeed have concerns about the HST he should do what’s right and stand up for the people of Boundary-Similkameen.

REALITY CHECK

The B.C. Liberal economic plan is to make British Columbians pay more for everything.

Starting April 1, the following costs will increase:

• Hydro rates will increase by more than nine per cent this year alone, and 45 per cent between 2008 and 2013.

• Camping fees in provincial parks will increase by as much as $5 per person, doubling in some backcountry parks.
